Design

Our multistep design process includes drawings, scope of work, and materials selection. We offer Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) services for projects needing floor plan modification. Most projects can be designed for $500.00 to $1,500.00 for the CADD work, which will also provide the drawings required to satisfy the permit process.  For larger projects needing structural engineering or more extensive design, we may engage the services of a local engineer/architect. 

With an approved plan in hand, Island Home will work up a line item scope of work in order to understand the overall anticipated costs in relation to your desired budget.  Next, we will schedule selection meeting(s) at the showroom, during which we will discuss and chose your selections for the cabinets, counter-tops, tile, flooring, hardware, and fixtures.  With these selections in place, a revised scope of work is then generated.

Once settled with the design, scope of work, material selections, and approved pricing, we will generate a contract and begin the fun task of beautifying your home.
